You can configure the Liberador Smart VPN on your MacOS computer by following these steps:
- Download and install the Tunnelblick App.
- Download your Liberador Smart VPN configuration file from the Smart VPN section of your Liberador account page.
- Once you have TunnelBlick installed, open the downloaded Smart VPN configuration file named LiberadorSmartVPN.ovpn in order to configure the Smart VPN connection in TunnelBlick.
- Click on the TunnelBlick icon on the top bar of your mac then click on VPN Details.
- Click on the Configurations icon available on the top of the TunnelBlick window.
- On the left, under configurations, click on LiberadorSmartVPN.
- In the Settings tab, click on the Advanced button.
- In the Connecting & Disconnecting tab, enable these options:
- Flush DNS cache after connecting or disconnecting
- Set DNS after routes are set
- Keep connected - Close the TunnelBlick windows.
- Restart your computer.
- Click on the TunnelBlick icon on the top bar of your mac and connect to the Liberador SmartVPN.
- TunnelBlick may ask you if you want to activate the Plugin down-root, you can accept and close the message.
- TunnelBlick may also inform you that the option "comp-lzo" is deprecated or that your IP did not change after connecting to the VPN, you can ignore these messages and close them.
- Once connected to the Smart VPN, verify that you get the three green checks on your Liberador account page.
